I'm Ernesto Serrano, founder of The Path of Awareness.
For nearly a decade, I have supported individuals through carefully structured processes of preparation, expanded states, and integration. My work is grounded in a simple belief: profound experiences alone rarely create lasting transformation. What matters most is how they are understood, integrated, and carried into everyday life.
My own path into this work began many years ago during periods of personal questioning and deep introspection. What started as a search for greater clarity gradually evolved into a sustained exploration of attention, perception, consciousness, and the nature of identity.
Over time, that personal exploration became a professional commitment to supporting others through meaningful processes of self-inquiry. For nearly ten years, I have facilitated individuals in navigating profound states of awareness within carefully prepared, responsible, and supportive environments.
Part of this work has included the responsible use of entheogenic compounds, not as recreation or ideology, but as tools that, when approached with respect and discernment, can reveal valuable insights into the mind and the nature of consciousness.
Through both personal experience and years of facilitating this work, one principle has consistently proven true: lasting transformation is rarely found in the experience itself, but in its integration.
Without thoughtful integration, even the most profound experience can gradually fade into memory. With integration, insight has the opportunity to become embodied understanding.
For this reason, my approach places equal importance on preparation, safety, the experience itself, and the integration that follows. The intention is never to pursue extraordinary states for their own sake, but to create the conditions in which greater clarity, presence, and self-understanding can naturally emerge.
Alongside my facilitation work, I also write and develop practices centered on conscious breathing, self-inquiry, and the direct exploration of awareness.
